Even though she’s not a designer (yet), the-stylist-to-the-stars has become one of the most influential names in fashion.
Rachel began her love affair with fashion at age 13 when her mother took her to Paris and she bought her first Louis Vuitton bag. She went on to study sociology and psychology at George Washington University where she met her husband, Roger Berman (bless his soul).
After graduation, she moved to New York and worked with magazines Gotham and YM before striking out on her own as a celebrity stylist. Her first clients included the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson. She eventually moved out to Los Angeles and in 2004 got a job working for Nicole Richie. While collaborating with Richie, Zoe became the pioneer of the “boho-chic” look.
Her clientele now includes Anne Hathaway, Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Kate Beckinsale, Debra Messing, Demi Moore, Liv Tyler, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Lawrence and Miley Cyrus.
But becoming a star on her own doesn’t seem to be going as well. Rumors are that her solo line isn’t selling so well in department stores Neimans, Bloomies and Nordstrom.
But will I die?
